1. This model has an Apple SIM card which means you’re not stuck with one provider anymore!  This is very handy for the frequent travelers so you can select which ever provider in the area with the best service.  It even works in other countries!

2.  Note: if you initially set up service through AT&T you will need to purchase another SIM card because that one will only be able to be used with AT&T.  Cannot use Verizon at all.  

3. Other than those two, you can swap around between carriers, such as sprint, t-mobile, and a few others depending on your location.  

4. Purchase daily, monthly, or even just a certain allotment of data at a time.  

5. They’re essentially contract free.  However many companies to offer monthly packages at slightly better rates.  This requires a contract, and also will require you to set up an account.
